Welder C

Level C welders are good with their hands and trained in welding steel and aluminum parts using SMAW, GMAW and FCAW processes. This is necessary in the construction, fabrication, erection and repair of components in plate and structural applications. (Duties same as welder A &B)

Most people in these occupations work 40 hours per week. Some mills and processing plants operate on shifts during days, nights and weekends.

Red Seal certified workers can work anywhere in Canada where their trade is designated. The Red Seal is considered a 'Passport to Mobility in the Trades.'
