The 1st Annual Pumpkin Fun Run, sponsored by RTO, Peninsula Runners and Aldor Acres raised funds for the Langley School District Foundation towards bursaries for students pursuing trades training.
RTO, Kwantlen Polytechnic University campus in Cloverdale and School District 35 organized a "Trades in Action" Day for middle school students. Students had the opportunity to try some "hands on" workshops in various trades.
The Marine Career Fair in Esquimalt, BC was visited by about 800 students and provided a great opportunity to learn about career options in the marine industry through hands on activities, booth and employer contacts.
